We are BEYOND upset and you should be too. 
Jarrett Tonn, the Vallejo PD officer who murdered Sean Monterrosa at a protest three years ago has just gotten his job back — thanks to the Vallejo police union.
Not only that, but he has been given FULL BACKPAY AND BENEFITS.
This is what happens when a racist department, city attorney and police union allow killer cops to come back and patrol communities.
But let’s be clear: this decision by a rogue panel of arbitrators to overturn Tonn’s termination will be met with the full opposition of the organizing community.
We also need to say something here: Rob Bonta, the California Attorney General who campaigned on “justice for all” needs to stop dragging his feet on his empty promises and prosecute Tonn for murdering Sean.
In fact, if Bonta had prosecuted Tonn, it’s very likely that he would NOT have been reinstated.
Michelle and Ashley, and the entire Monterrosa family have spent the last three years fighting for justice and missing Sean. And now Tonn won’t face any repercussions at all? He even gets his job back? With backpay and benefits?
HELL NO.
